Volunteer Programmes
Take part in one of our Volunteer Programmes, for a unique, unforgettable experience!
These volunteer programmes are arranged in conjunction with a Spanish course, so that you improve your Spanish whilst at the same time helping the local community and gaining an insight into the local culture.
We are able to arrange many different types of volunteer work abroad in various countries. Some types of volunteer require previous experience but for most you simply need enthusiasm and the willingness to take on a new challenge!
Some volunteer placements can be carried out at the same time as you attend your Spanish course, for example Spanish classes in the morning and volunteer programme in the afternoon. Other programmes commence after you have completed your Spanish course.
Please contact us to let us know your specific needs and interests. We will suggest suitable locations and volunteer programmes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much Spanish do I need to take part in the Volunteer programme?
An elementary level of Spanish is sufficient for certain types of volunteer work. It is better to have an intermediate level of Spanish, if possible, as this widens the range of volunteer work that you can do. Naturally, you can choose to attend a Spanish course at one of our schools in order to achieve an intermediate level of Spanish.
Do I receive payment for the programme?
The volunteer programmes are unpaid; students do not receive a payment.
Can I have accommodation during my stay?
We can arrange accommodation. Exact accommodation options vary according to location.
Can I decide which programme I want to take part in?
Let us know which location and what areas you are specifically interested in and we will inform you of all the programmes you can choose from.
Is there minimum/maximum duration for the Volunteer programme?
The volunteer programme is for a minimum of 2 weeks but can last up to 36 weeks or more. Most placements average 6-12 weeks.
Do I have to sign up for a Spanish course?
The volunteer programme is only available to students attending one of our Spanish courses.
Is there a minimum age for this programme?
The volunteer programme is available for 18 + year olds.
When do I need to book?
There is no deadline. However, you should book your Spanish course and volunteer programme as far as possible in advance, to allow us as much time as possible to arrange a suitable programme for you.
