The Alcázar de Colón is a palace built by Columbus’ son, whilst the Catedral Santa María La Menor is the oldest church in the Americas. A Spanish course in Santo Domingo will introduce you to countless historic sights, the majority of which can be found in the beautiful Zona Colonial, by the banks of the Ozama River.

Our school is located in a pleasant area of the capital, close to the university and the seafront, within easy reach of the Zona Colonial. As well as comfortable classrooms, the school has its own garden, student lounge, cafeteria and terrace areas.

Both group-based and one-on-one Spanish lessons are available at our school. You can take 20 or 30 classes each week, either as part of a same-level group, or on an individual basis. If you opt for a course of 20 Spanish lessons per week, you’ll leave yourself with plenty of time to explore the Dominican Republic. On the other hand, a more intensive course will give you extra time in class, enabling you to learn at a greater pace.

The great benefit of Private Lessons is that they afford you the totally undivided attention of our school’s well-qualified, experienced teachers. Your teachers’ only goal will be to improve your level of Spanish, so you’ll soon be speaking Spanish with confidence!

Our school also offers dance lessons, introducing you to passionate dances like the Merengue, Bachata and Salsa. In conjunction with your Spanish course in Santo Domingo, dance lessons will give you a fascinating insight into Dominican culture.
