Santiago really comes to life at fiesta time! Locals celebrate with processions, fireworks, musical concerts, dancing and feasts. Typical Galician dishes include ‘filloas’ (similar to crêpes) and ‘caldo gallego’ (meat or fish stew), which you can wash down with a glass of delicious Albariño white wine. Santiago has managed to retain a strong, Spanish identity, making it a great place to experience the Spanish culture! Due to its moderate size, this unspoilt, traditionally Spanish city is also easy to explore.

Our school enjoys an enviable position in the centre of Santiago, close to the enchanting old town. Verdant parklands and open plazas are also within easy reach – ideal for unwinding after your Spanish lessons! Inside the modern, well-furnished school building, you’ll find 6 spacious classrooms, a well-equipped computer room and free wireless Internet access.

Learn Spanish in Santiago de Compostela in a way that suits you! Our school offers a flexible range of Spanish language programs. Enjoy the chance to practice your Spanish with up to 7 other students, on our school’s Standard Spanish Course in Santiago de Compostela. Take the Intensive Course or Intensive Plus Course to have mini-group lessons (4 students per class) alongside standard lessons. Or, get even more focused attention from teachers with a Combined Course, which supplement group lessons with Private Lessons.

A course unique to our Santiago school is its Spanish on the Camino course. Follow in the footsteps of generations of pilgrims, who journeyed to Santiago Cathedral to pay homage to Saint James.
