Learn Spanish on a Spanish course in Quito and witness one of the most beautiful cities in Latin America! The exquisite old town, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is blessed with a stunning collection of colonial-era churches and palaces. You’ll see the hand of history everywhere, whether you’re exploring one of the many superb museums, or simply strolling around the scenic streets.

Quito is also a modern, energetic capital, where skyscrapers share the skyline with the volcanic peaks surrounding the city. The Mariscal Sucre area is where you’ll find most of the city’s international cafés, restaurants and bars. Our Spanish language school is located just to the north, close to the expansive Carolina Park. The maximum class size at our school is just five students, so you’re sure to make rapid progress if you learn Spanish in Quito with us!

Courses in Quito

Your Spanish lessons will take place in a striking colonial building, in the residential neighbourhood of La Carolina. The traditional building has 21 classrooms, an interior courtyard, terrace area, library, computer room, multimedia room, auditorium and even an indoor sports hall!

Spanish courses available at the school include group classes, individual classes and combinations of both. Group courses give you plenty of social interaction, Private Spanish Lessons afford you customised tuition, whilst the Super-intensive programs offer you the best of both approaches!

If you’d like to balance your language tuition with lots of sightseeing, take our school’s Language & Activity program. It consists of 20 Spanish Lessons and five activities per week. Visit the dramatic Pichincha Volcano; the surreal Guayasamin Museum; or the Mitad del Mundo park, where you can walk across the equator.

Alternatively, you can experience life in the rainforest on our school’s Cloud forest course, which takes place on the eastern slopes of the Andes. As well as 20 Spanish lessons each week, this week-long course also includes full board accommodation in a cabin in the rainforest.

Rainforest conservation is just one of the many options available if you choose to take part in our school’s Volunteer Work projects. Volunteer Work gives you valuable Spanish practice and the chance to help the local community!

Accommodation in Quito

Get a glimpse of Ecuadorian life at first-hand and enjoy constant language practice – stay with a local host family in Quito! Our school carefully selects host families, based upon their friendliness and the quality of their accommodation. Most families live less than 20 minutes away from the school by public transport.

If you prefer, our school can arrange student residence accommodation for you. You can then prepare your own meals and enjoy the company of your fellow students.
