Learn Spanish in Granada

Granada lies at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the highest Mountain range in mainland Spain. Yet, at the same time, it is just a 40-minute drive to the beaches of the Mediterranean. This is a wonderful place to study Spanish. Granada is a magical combination of Arabic architecture, white-washed streets, snow-capped mountains and nearby beaches, unmistakable and truly incomparable with anywhere else.

The Albaicin - The Old Town

The 'Albaicin' the old Arabic part of the city, stands on a hill overlooking Granada, its winding white-washed streets offering beautiful views of the 'Alhambra', the magnificent Arabic palace which towers over the city and is in many ways the symbol of Granada. But Granada is much more than just breathtakingly beautiful architecture and stunning geographical location. It is a city of artists, students, poets, musicians, a young and vibrant city, with ancient architecture and a unique atmosphere - in many ways the perfect location for studying Spanish, the only problem being that you will probably never want to leave! Our school offers Spanish courses in the centre of Granada. The Spanish classes take place in 20 air-conditioned classrooms. There is also an extensive patio, large student common room and Internet room, with free Internet access. Regular guided tours of Granada are organised, evenings out with tutors, 5 free 'Cultural lessons' per week, film evenings in the school and weekend excursions to Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, Cadiz and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. All accommodation is within walking distance of the school.

All accommodation is within walking distance of our school. Whilst learning Spanish at our school, you can also practise what you have learnt out-of-class, in Granada, with your host family or talking with other international students from the school.

Arrival in Granada

Fly to Granada Airport. There are regular bus services from the airport to the centre of Granada.

Alternatively fly to Malaga Airport and take the airport bus to Malaga Coach Station. From there, take the direct express coach to Granada. There are coaches to Granada every hour and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Contact us for a coach timetable. You should arrive in Granada on the Sunday before your Spanish course starts.
