Our Spanish language school occupies a beautiful, colonial-style building in the very centre of the city. The school has seven classrooms, a garden, student lounge, video room, library and balconies looking out over the river below.
All of our school’s courses cover speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar, so no matter which Spanish course in Cuenca you choose, your overall level of Spanish will improve! The Intensive course comprises 20 Spanish lessons per week, in groups no larger than five students, so your language skills will benefit from plenty of personal attention.
For even more individual attention, you can learn Spanish in Cuenca with Private Lessons, or even with a combination of both group and one-on-one tuition. All Spanish courses at the school also include four cultural classes each week, introducing you to the fascinating way of life and vibrant traditions of Ecuador.
If you want to really get to know the Ecuadorian people, let our school organise a Volunteer Work placement for you. You could be teaching English, caring for the elderly, assisting homeless people, or acting as a tour guide in a national park!

Arrival in Cuenca
To get to Cuenca from abroad, you must first fly into an international airport in Quito or Guayaquil. If you like, our school’s transfer service can collect you from either of these airports and provide overnight hotel accommodation, before transporting you back to the airport for your onward flight to Cuenca the next day. Our school will then pick you up from Cuenca Airport and take you to your accommodation. This transfer service from Quito or Guayaquil carries a supplementary cost.
