Each ‘barrio’ (neighbourhood) of Buenos Aires has its own personality. La Boca, for example, is a bustling ‘Little Italy’, whilst Palermo is one of the most scenic and fashionable areas of the city. San Telmo offers a glimpse both into the past, and also into the local culture. Here, traditional restaurants are bounded by Tango halls and bars full of native Porteños. You’ll have an incredible time exploring Buenos Aires after your Spanish lessons!

Our Option One Buenos Aires school is located in the barrio of Recoleta, an affluent and attractive neighbourhood. As well as the famous Recoleta cemetery, where Evita is buried, the area is also home to scenic squares, vibrant nightlife and stylish shops. In addition to 18 spacious classrooms, the school also has balconies, a terrace, café area and free Internet access for students.

If you like, you can supplement your regular Spanish course in Buenos Aires with special interest classes. Our school runs courses to teach you specialist business, legal or medical terms in Spanish, and even a course to show you how to Tango!

Private Lessons allow you to completely customise your Spanish classes, tailoring them to suit your interests and schedule. Even our school’s regular group classes have a maximum class size of just seven students, affording you plenty of attention from expert teachers.

Accommodation in Buenos Aires Option 1

Staying with one of our school’s carefully chosen host families, you’ll not only get lots of Spanish language practice, you’ll also experience the local way of life at first hand! Alternatively, you can share an apartment with your fellow students from the school, giving you greater independence and the chance to get to know other students better. Shared apartments are no more than a 30-minute journey away from the school.
