Following a day spent skiing or snowboarding down perfect pistes, Bariloche’s fashionable bars and clubs are the ideal place for some après-ski. The spectacular Andean landscapes are also popular for hiking, horse riding, golf, rafting, mountaineering, fishing and many more sports!

For the best views of Lake Nahuel Huapi shimmering below dramatic, snow-capped peaks, take a walk along the Circuito Chico road on the edge of town. Along the lakeside are many restaurants where you can indulge in delicious international cuisine, as well as ‘parrillas’ serving mouth-watering Argentine steaks. Those with a sweeter tooth will be pleased to know that Bariloche is also home to a whole host of chocolatiers, completing the illusion of ‘little Switzerland’ in Patagonia.

The lake is just a short walk from our Spanish school, a detached building with a patio area, free Internet access and student common areas. Nearby you’ll find a park, where you can relax after your Spanish lessons, as well as shops and other amenities.

Our school has maximum class sizes of just seven students, so you’re certain to make great progress on your Spanish course in Bariloche. Such small class sizes allow our school’s expert teachers to devote lots of time to improving your Spanish! Of course, the individual attention of Private Lessons will ensure that you learn Spanish even more quickly!

The Spanish & Skiing program includes two ski passes each week, introducing you to the superb slopes of Cerro Catedral as you learn Spanish in Bariloche.

There’s no better way to achieve total immersion in the Spanish language and Argentine culture than by living with a local host family. Our school goes to great lengths to ensure that it only places students with friendly, capable families.

However, you may prefer to live with your fellow students taking a Spanish course in Bariloche. Our school’s shared apartments, located a maximum of 30 minutes away from the school, are all furnished and have fully equipped kitchens.
