Alicante is a beautiful city, lying on the warm shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The magnificent golden sandy beaches which line Alicante's seafront regularly win 'blue flag' awards, making Alicante ideal for anyone who loves sun, sea and sand and would like to learn Spanish. However, with a population of 500,000 and a history which goes back to the Greeks, Alicante has much more to offer than just its pristine beaches. Coming here to Learn Spanish is just one of the possibilities!

Many people choose Alicante for its wonderful climate and coastal location. Though these are reasons enough for coming here, Alicante is also a wonderful place to learn Spanish as the Spanish language is spoken here with no strong accent or regional dialect. People are friendly and the city is popular with Spanish university students, giving Alicante a lively, youthful feel. However, Alicante also boasts various monuments, such as the impressive castle, which towers over the main beach.
